Hybrid Revenue Meter
& Power Quality Analyzer ( PQA / PQM)

The EM720 is the IEC version of the eXpertMeter^TMSeries of multifunctional power analyzers. This series was designed to deliver two functionalities that are present in every substation, in a single device:

PQ Analyzer & Power Meter, typically required by utility SCADA teams
Revenue Meter, typically operated and read by the utility billing department

Combining these functions simplifies design and eliminates redundancy.

Transformer/Line losses calculation

Based on parameters such as copper losses and iron losses, this unique economical feature enables the meter to accurately establish a virtual metering point. This eliminates the need to construct a costly high voltage metering point, requiring a metering cubicle, CT and PT.
